Cortney graduated from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale with a Master's degree in Social Work.  She is a licensed Clinical Social Worker in Illinois with over 15 years of experience working with children, adults, and families. 

 

Cortney has worked with a variety of problems, including adult substance abuse, co-occurring disorders, and mental health disorders in both inpatient and outpatient settings.  She is also nationally qualified to provide Substance Abuse Professionals (SAP) evaluations for return-to-duty for the Department of Transportation (DOT).
